8th grade students at SHMS are learning all about the responsibilities of the real world today. Thank you to Go Topeka for helping bring an amazing program like Reality U to our students. Also, a big thank you to all the community volunteers that came out to help!
Tecumseh North students raised $1,428 for United Way and are the student campaign champs for the district 4 years running! They celebrated with a little sumo wrestling fun today.
Tis the season of giving. A big THANK YOU to Academy Sports for donating a bike to every single kindergarten student at Tecumseh North! Their smiles tell you everything.
It was Random Acts of Kindness day at TSouth today! TSouth student, Molly, organized and interviewed other students who participated in the day. Molly says she wants to spread the kindness to everyone. What was your act of kindness today?
Shawnee Heights Middle School students made their own hot air balloons!
The Care Closet will be closed this Saturday, December 8, 2018 due to wrestling tournaments and ACT testing. Stay tuned for updated hours and dates for next semester.
Don't forget! The Festival of Trees will be tomorrow from 4-8:30pm at the high school. Over 25 trees and wreaths will be available for silent auction. Live music by the Jazz band and brass ensemble, cocoa bar, cookies and SANTA will be there!

Congratulation to Jenna Reed and Lacee Thomas Stevens for receiving the Donovan W. Cook Student Teacher award at Washburn this past week. Jenna will be starting as the new elementary art teacher for the district and Lacee is an SH alumni! Great job to all the student teachers!

The math club placed second in the team score for 5A schools last week at their competition. JT Tetuan received first place, Kale Stahl received second place, and Jonathan Lozano received third place for the team. Great job to all the participants!
Nathan Harmon delivered a life-changing message to our students this morning @yourlifespeaks1 . Thank you to Jerry Hudgins with Soul Reason that are sponsoring these assemblies in Kansas. Mr. Harmon is planning on speaking to over 200 schools this year.
